Direct Instruction & Student Support
Instruction focuses on:
- Development of tactile communication systems, object or tactile symbol sets
- Sensory-accessible routines and strategies
- Coactive movement and shared interaction techniques
- Adapted ECC instruction aligned to each student’s sensory, communication, and developmental profile
Students are supported to participate confidently and meaningfully across school, home, and community environments.
Collaborative Consultation & Team Support
Collaboration includes:
- Partnership with families, educational teams, interveners, and state DeafBlind Projects
- Coaching, guidance, and training for adults supporting the student
- Support for program planning, progress monitoring, and skill carryover
- Ensuring strategies are practical, functional, and sustainable
